Dear families,
Your children have arrived safely in Boston. We spent the first night relaxing and getting to know each other and then spent yesterday morning in training before everyone headed off to their new areas with their new companions. As parents of a full-time missionary ourselves, we know how anxious you are to receive that first email report from your child. Unfortunately, you still have a few days to wait. Missionaries email home only on "P-days" (preparation days), so you should get your first report on Monday, November 4th.
Since this was not a normal transfer time for our mission, your children will be returning to the mission home in a few weeks for more training with the larger group of arriving missionaries. We look forward to spending more time with them then, but we can already tell that these three are going to be a huge blessing to the Massachusetts Boston Mission.
Attached is a picture of us with your children. We love them already! It will be a pleasure to work alongside these fine missionaries as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of New England.
