What's up everybody! Sak Pasè La??

Thanks for the couple of other birthday letters I got this week, from Cindy, the Jutkins, and Brian & Kerriann. I really appreciate it! It was so nice to have some letter love from home!

This week was so crazy. We didn't have a single minute of down time! It was literally working from the moment we got up until the minute we went to bed!

So this week we picked up 6 new investigators, and they are all really solid. We are excited!! Our zone is doing this game, where if you do certain things you get awarded points. So collectively we're trying to get to 2014 points as a zone. Things like, if you contact someone you get 1pt. If you give someone a pass along card, 3pts. A Book of Mormon, 5pts. If you get a new investigator, 10pts. Things like that! It has been really fun, we're going for a goal as a zone to get 50 new investigators this month.

We had exchanges this week, I got to go down to the South Coast area with our new zone leader, Elder Farr. Elder Far is from Utah, somewhere nearby Alpine, I can't remember the exact place. But he is a super awesome guy, we had a great exchange. We got to teach a bunch and it was fantastic!

We taught SO MUCH this week, I didn't count how many lessons exactly, but we did extremely well. In one of our lessons with Naomi, we showed her and her friend the newest Mormon Message, and it was seriously so good. She was able to connect to it and she loved it, then her friend really enjoyed it as well!

So we have some exciting news, we got a call late Thursday night from our Bishop. We are going to have the Haitian Group every single week now, before it was just one time per month! Basically, a group is what a branch is before it becomes a branch, and a branch is what a ward is before it becomes a ward!

So the thing is, that was Thursday night. They expected us to fill the room on Sunday. So Friday and Saturday were spent just going SO HARD trying to get everyone who's anyone committed to come. It's hard. Some people just don't have that drive to come to church. It's one of those, well... if it's convenient. Kind of deals. Just come! It'll be awesome! ha.

So we ended up with 21 people in the group this past Sunday. Not the same as the 50 like last time, but we did end up with a decent amount. It'll grow!

Sunday was a crazy day. We had to prepare everything for that Haitian group, including talks, the program and getting the room and sacrament ready. It was crazy. But we did our best. We also had 6 investigators show up to church yesterday, which was so awesome. There is so much work to be done here, so many people God is just preparing!!

It was a great week!!
