This week was just packed with all sorts of crazy goodness. So let's just jump right in!
Tuesday, we had an awesome lesson with Esaie! We felt prompted to extend a baptismal date, and he happily accepted. Sadly, since he's only 12 and can't make many big decisions for himself, we are not sure if the date will hold or not. But keep him in your prayers, he knows this is the truth!!

So here is the miracle of the week. Wednesday, we were without a car, because the other Elders had to take it to Belmont for a meeting. So we had 3 back to back appointments that evening, and we just weren't sure how we were going to make it work. So we get to the first appointment on time, and we are walking to the bus stop, trying to get to the second appointment. The appointment was at 6:30 and it was already almost 6. The bus wasn't scheduled to come for another 15 minutes and we had about a half an hour walk after that. So we just decided "better late than never!" and just chilled at the bus stop. When suddenly, the Portuguese Sister missionaries pull up, and offer us a ride! We were able to get there right on time and have an awesome lesson. And then we walked out of the appointment, found a hidden bus stop that we didn't' know existed, the bus showed up 5 minutes later and then we got to the 3 appointment a little bit early. It was great!!
Thursday we had a 12 hour Zone Conference with President Packard. It was absolutely fantastic! We talked about building Zion in the mission, how to be more consecrated, building companionship unity, receiving personal revelation, and we watched Meet the Mormons! (Which was pretty good by the way, worth a watch)
Friday I went on exchanges down in the South Coast area with Elder Farr. Elder Farr is from Utah, he went to Lone Peak High, he is an awesome guy and a solid missionary. I went down to interview one of their investigators for baptism. It was interesting, I have never needed a translator for a baptismal interview before! It was a mother from Cape Verde, and she didn't' speak too much English. It was really cool though! She passed, and was baptized yesterday.
I also had the chance to try what is called an "Awful-Awful" at an ice cream place called "Newport Creamery" It's like a milk shake, but somehow better? The name is for Awfully-Good and Awfully-Big. I don't know why this is significant to any of you, but yes. Mass has great food and stuff.
Saturday we had a fantastic lesson with some teenagers in the area. They are members, but one specifically mentioned she is having trouble getting a testimony in Joseph Smith. So we just talked about it. It was such a great lesson, the spirit was very very very strong. And they knew it.
The group yesterday had a lower attendance, only 18 people. Still not terrible, but there is a lot of work to be done this week! We have also been working with a man that missionaries would call an "Eternigator" someone who has been and will be investigating the church forever, but refuses to be baptized. Well we got a text from him on Thursday that said "Elders, I decided I want to be baptized next weekend, what's next?" haha! Woah! Sweet! :D So yeah, this upcoming Sunday our investigator Marc is getting baptized. Randomly fantastic.
