How are you all doing? Here in Brockton, things are about as good as ever. 

Here's a funny story:

Yesterday, we were at a member's house for dinner. They have a 2 year old son, right? Well, he's just jumping on the tramp out back and we turn around for 2 seconds.... we come back, his diaper is gone, still just jumping around having the time of his life. We take a closer look, the other small child on the tramp is consuming...what used to be in the diaper.... we look again, the 2 year old is just draining the main vein on the tramp... Elder Ching offers to help. He gets on the tramp, accidentally rolls in the pee. 

Maybe a bit gross. But it was SO hilarious. 

We had some solid lessons this week with Jorge, Taina, Jean, and we found a new investigator named Savanna.

Jorge we met with at the park, he kept his commitment to read the introduction of the Book of Mormon! We taught him all about the restored gospel and he seemed to like the message. He wants to come to church soon, he just couldn't make it this past week. We are seeing him tomorrow, and hopefully should be seeing him with another member, who's name is also Jorge... haha. Should be a great lesson.

Taina is SO COOL. She's the best. No joke. We visited her again, with Stacy, and had an awesome lesson about obedience, commandments, and repentance. She pulls some super good insights out of the Book of Mormon and you can just see it physically changing the way she is carrying herself. Taina is so prepared. She came to church again yesterday, just loved it, always learns a ton and is just craving the gospel. I love when investigators keep their commitments. 

Jean we couldn't actually get a lesson with. But! We visited at the garage that he works on (it's an auto body shop) and he told us that he'd like to be baptized sometime in August. He also came to church yesterday, had a great time, brought a friend, friend would like us to come visit her. Everything is so great!!

Savanna was definitely the highlight of the week. We were stopping by some less actives, when the assistant group leader called and said "Hey! Where are you guys? There's this lady here who lives above me and she wants you guys to come teach her." "Hm... WE'LL BE RIGHT OVER!!" So we just got to know her, she's 18 and she's been in the US for 4 years now. She just wants to improve her relationship with God and wants to learn how to receive answers to her prayers. We can help with that :) We taught her about the restoration, set a return appointment. On the way out, guess who we meet? Her mom, her aunt, and her cousin. They're all going to sit in on the appointment we have set up for Saturday! Let's go!! I love finding families. 

Digital!

In the digital mission, we taught a girl named Rachel. She is really cool! She's from Kingston, Jamaica and she seemed really open to our message. Teaching her again Wednesday. :)

We've been opening our mouths like crazy on the street, because Elder Coulson and I don't have much time left, and generally in Brockton anybody will actually talk to you. So this week, we have some solid potential investigators that we're going to go follow up with and hopefully teach. 

The Lord is here in this work, and it's going forward full throttle. 

The mission just sent me my flight itinerary. What the heck?!?

PS: This week free Slurpee day happened. We went 2 times. It was awesome.
