This area is under wraps!!

Sak ap fet! W ap boule piti piti?
Hope everyone is doing well, this week has been a pivital week in a lot of different ways.
So first off, we're still on foot. We did the math, we've walked over 100 miles in the last 2 weeks! So that's kindof exciting, i'm gonna need some new shoes soon before I know it... We were told on Friday that in about a week or so we should get a car, so that should be nice. Appointments that are 10+ miles away just aren't possible.
So this week we spent a lot of time figuring out who our people are. Finding out who's coming to church who isn't a member, part member familes, kids over the age of 8 who aren't baptized, we arranged our referrals, looked into all of the people we've contacted on the street. Stuff like that, it's been super nice. So now when we head out, we have places to go and people to see.
We met with Jeff a few times again this week, he's still doing much better than a couple of weeks ago. Still just loving church, we got him an appointment with some employment specialists from the church, they're going to start helping him find a solid job. He bore his testimony of the Book of Mormon to them, I wasn't there but I heard it was really powerful. Really good stuff.
This is Jeff and me!! Such a great guy!!
We worked on getting everything set up for Melchizedek to recieve the Aaronic Preisthood (sounds backwards, haha.). He was interviewed yesterday and he passed with no problems!!
We picked up a new investigator, her name is Gladys, she is a member in the ward's mom. She is super cool, and if everything goes well we'll be teaching her tonight.
Oh! I almost forgot. We had Zone Conference this past week with 2 other zones. It was about retaining baptismal dates and essentially teaching towards conversion (not just baptism). It was a really inspiring zone conference, I think it explained a lot of things I didn't FULLY understand. We're getting excited, this area is "Pret pou pete!!" Ready to explode!!!
We're really excited for this next transfer, there should be a lot of good things coming up. Transfer texts will be this Friday, so next Monday you'll know who is moving around. We also had an emergency transfer in the district last week, we now have Sister Miller down here, she is great!
Plans on the docket for P day today are just heading to the park at 3 to play soccer with all of the Cape Verdeans.

This is a cute little Haitian BOY, so yes it still happens here in the U.S. .....where moms just put on whatever they can find ...haha!!

Pase yon bon semen! N'ap pale!
