Hey everyone! Due to us having interviews with the President yesterday, our P day was moved to today (Tuesday).

Frantzy
So there's this member that used to live here in Brockton, but moved to CT for the time being to find a job. But he came up to visit this last week, and he came to a bunch of lessons with us. It was awesome! He killed it in the lesson with Esaie, more about that in a minute though. He also introduced us to a bunch of his friends, who are cool with us teaching them. Woohoo!! And then the coolest part, he has been trying to arrange a Haitian group down in CT! I guess there are lots of them down there!! He has come up with a list of a bunch of families that would be interested in coming to an activity at the church. Literally about 120 families. It's insane.

Esaie
Taught Esaie again today. His mom still won't let him be baptized, but here is the plan. We are just going to go so hard in the Book of Mormon that if he does need to put off being baptized until he's 18, he'll go with a full knowledge that the Book is the truth.
Teaching English
So we started teaching English at the same place that is the food pantry, Catholic Charities. We are in a classroom from 9am-12pm every Wednesday now! And guess what! Everyone in there learning English is a Haitian :). So that is very exciting.
Naomie
So this week, guess who popped up on our radar again? None other than Naomie. The one we were teaching a while back. She is now back in Brockton and wanted us to stop by and teach her again. Of course we're not going to say no! She said she still wants nothing more than to get baptized. Exciting stuff!

Dalyse
We went into our lesson with every intention of reading 3 Nephi 11 with her. But like usual, nothing goes as planned! But hey, she invited a friend to the lesson!! Her friend's name is Yves-Rose. She is really interesting in coming to church, she also likes the fact that there are no people in the church who get paid to minister. Many churches in Brockton are basically a business. It's terrible.
Stake Conference
This weekend we had stake conference, the Saturday night session was awesome! It got everyone so pumped up for missionary work and living the gospel. We also sang in a missionary choir for the meeting, we sang parts of Called to Serve in our respective languages. It was a blast! Sitting up on the stand for the entire meeting isn't my favorite thing to do though :P.
Interviews with President
Now, I don't know how interviews work in other missions. But here, President just lets you ask any questions or talk about any concerns you have. It is awesome, he is very good at just making you feel like you are doing wonderful. I just talked to him about school after the mission, he basically told me that I should start applying now! He also read this scripture with me, and I wanted to share it with you.
D&C 88:124-126
124 Cease to be aidle; cease to be bunclean; cease to cfind fault one with another; cease to dsleep longer than is needful; retire to thy bed early, that ye may not be weary; arise early, that your bodies and your minds may be einvigorated.
