Manushkah and Jadyah's Baptism + Party Time!!

So let's kick this email off with saying that this week was fantastic!!

The Party
As I mentioned this past week, our Haitian group was planning on having our first activity... a Thanksgiving party! Well, we were a little worried going into it, but it turned out SO well. The first hour or so seemed to drag on a little bit, but once the music got turned on and the food came out everyone was pumped!! We had over 50 people there, probably more, but I didn't get an accurate count. We also had 15 non members there, 10 of whom we're currently teaching!! Our investigator family, Barbara, Marie-Claire, Merline, and all of their kids were all there. It was fantastic.
A picture from the skit that some Haitians performed at the party.

Lesson with Brother Corkum
Saturday morning, we had a lesson with Barbara, Marie-Claire, and Merline. We took Brother Corkum, who doesn't speak Creole, but he is an incredibly nice man and he was cool with doing translation. It ended up being a really cool story, because he completely related to all of them, he told them a story about how he sought the will of the Lord whether he should move or not, long story short, he moved and so many miracles happened. They all are in that same boat right now, explaining how life is hard in America, but they see many miracles. It was so great!!
Pierre family!!

Soeur Samara and I! Elder Lee baptized her last time he was in Brockton. She rules!

The Baptism
Manushka & Jadyah were both baptized by their older brother Kyle yesterday. Everyone was so extremely happy about it, their whole family was there, a bunch of our investigators came and saw how exciting the baptism is, the food was great, everyone was just so happy! Easily one of the smoothest baptisms I have ever had. Crazy how long we've been working to get them ready for yesterday, and it finally happened! They are the sharpest kids on the planet. Seriously so smart.
Manushka and Jadyah right before the baptism!!

Kyle, the older brother who baptized them.

The whole family! (I love Sr. Chauvet's outfit, so cool!)
Sometimes fonts can be sketchy business.

Everyone came to the baptism!

I think that's about it for this week, most of it went towards the planning of the party and baptism! This upcoming week is going to be T-Texts. So that should be interesting.

Have a great week everyone!!
