Sunday FUNday!!

Hey everyone,

this week was great! But the only part I want to really talk about is Sunday. (Don't get me wrong, the rest of the week was good, but everything just leads up to Sunday)

So here we are, it's 9:30am. (when the group is supposed to start). There are maybe 5 people there, including Elder Lee and myself. We start stressing like crazy, wondering what went wrong and where everyone was at! We worked our tails off this week. We were even missing the Brother who was supposed to be giving the sacrament meeting talk... So frantically pacing around, we go into the English sacrament to find one of the less-active families that we've been trying to find for a very long time. They were happy to come to the group, just after that, the speaker walks in, 2 more of the families, 2 young men, and a sister. Well, the meeting started, it was so great. By the end of the meeting, we had a whole 29 people there!! Everyone was so happy, it couldn't have been better.

Sacrament ends, we are hanging out in Haitian Sunday School, and guess who walks in? This lady named Denise that we used to be teaching! She just hasn't had a way to get here, but was so excited to be there!

Haitian Sunday School ends, the Bishop asks to see myself and Elder Lee, and Frere Ronald (the group leader). We have a FANTASTIC meeting, set up another game plan for the next little bit. He also tells us his exciting news, he just received word from the Stake, if we can find 1 more active and worthy Melchizedek Priesthood holder, we will become a branch. WHAT!?!?! YES!!!!!! Couldn't be more excited.

Church ends, we talk to our two investigators that are being baptized next Sunday. Everything is solid. They planned their whole baptismal service, the interview is set up, everything is perfect!! They even asked Elder Lee and I to talk, and their older brother Kyle, is actually a Priest and will be performing the baptism.

We talk to Soeur Edwina, we are having a huge Haitian party this Saturday. We were worried we'd have to plan most of it, we talked to her, she has already planned nearly all of it!! Everyone is going to come, and it should be a fantastic party! Can not wait!

Needless to say, we went home from church more excited than we both have been in such a long time.

Sorry, I forgot my camera this week.

Have a great week though!!
