Hey everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas! It was great out here in Mass, we had temperatures in the 60s! Not quite Christmas weather, but I won't complain.

You know how there are a lot of people who refuse to say "Merry Christmas" only "Happy Holidays" because it's more politically correct? I would say that caught on here in Massachusetts. There's no more "Christmas" it's either "Happy Holidays" Or "Merry X-mas" - which is the worst one in my opinion. Kind of ridiculous if you ask me. If someone say to me "Hey, happy Hanukkah!" I would say "Hey thanks! You too!" You know, not that big of a deal. People are weird, yo.
For Christmas Eve, we went to the mission home for dinner. It was super fun! We also re-enacted the nativity and did a white elephant gift exchange! The fishbowl took home the best gifts for sure. The nativity part was a blast, we were all in ridiculous clothing, and there was even a camel costume there. Pretty legit. We had a great time.
Christmas was fantastic! In the morning, all of the senior couples got together and made the younger missionaries breakfast. So nice of them! Did a google hangout with mom's side of the family. It was awesome, I was very happy everyone was able to make it and we had a great call! Everyone is doing super well, and getting to talk to Dje Dje (the Haitian guy staying with my aunt in Utah) in Creole for a minute was awesome. Got some sweet presents from the family. (Most of it was U of U gear... Go Utes!)
After the video call, we went to a member's house for dinner! It was really nice of them to have us over. By the time we were all finished eating, we were all ready to hit the bed. For not accomplishing a whole lot, it was a very draining day! We slept GREAT.
Saturday we had service at the temple, we helped out with the laundry. It was the day that was set for all of the recent converts in the mission to go do baptisms for the dead, the goal for December was to have over 100 recent converts there with their own family names. There were over 100 there, but only 95 had family names! So everyone is scrambling to make a last trip before January comes in. Really exciting though. Since there were so many people, laundry was hectic. They kept running out of jumpsuits and towels. But we came in and took care of it :)

Saturday evening and Sunday we all just decided that we were going to do everything we possibly could have to go get as many people to Skype with us that we could.
Well, in that afternoon and on Sunday, we skyped probably about 15 people, several of them became new investigators!
Daniel (Scotland) Went to church, loved it! Participated a bunch and even said a closing prayer. He was excited because he knew some of the songs in the hymn book, and was proud that he didn't need the words!
Shirley (Australia) Became a new investigator, originally grew up on a small island in micronesia, but recently moved to Australia and then we found her! She gave us her info and is excited to have a Book of Mormon delivered to her! Super awesome!
There are a bunch of people we Skyped that live all over the place. We have even Skyped with a few members, which is fun as well. This new calling is so awesome!
I think that's about it for now.
