Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night (Depending on the time of day when you read this)

Well he made it. The new guy. The greenie. However you'd like to call it, but his name is Elder Jeske. He is 18 years old, from Orem, Utah (I'd never heard of it either) and he literally just graduated here in 2015. He's an awesome guy! He reminds me a ton of Hunter Tinney. Just creative and outgoing, and he's here to work hard! We've been going nonstop since he's gotten here and he hasn't even wanted to slow down. He's learning really quick and the Haitians are treating him super well.
Many pics from this last P day, we visited a Buddhist temple and we got to meet the head monk! It was great.
This week we had some great lessons, we had a few pretty cool experiences, and we saw some awesome miracles.
First miracle was that we went to a Chinese buffet as a district and nobody got food poisoning. That's a good deal!
But really though, we got a call from a Haitian member Thursday afternoon telling us we needed to call this lady he knows right away. So we got in touch with an American lady named Kristen who is moving from Standford, CT (basically in NY) up here to Brockton. Turns out she has a serious blood disorder and needed to go to the hospital just upon entering Massachusetts. So we have been visiting her every couple of days, and Elder Jeske had the opportunity to do the anointing of a blessing for the first time ever! We'll just stop in from time to time to check on her and read a scripture or two. She's was just recently baptized in April or so, and really appreciates us and the ward here supporting her.
We met with Georges again this week, but we planned everything out and grabbed some pizza with him! So we had a lesson at the park about our post mortal lives (we taught pre-mortal lives last week). He had some great comments and is still reading the Book of Mormon very often. He was supposed to come to church yesterday but texted early yesterday morning saying that it wasn't a good day and he couldn't make it. #UnfortunateBro
A lot of the week consisted of visiting members, helping Elder Jeske have the opportunity to practice creole and get him introduced to everyone, and just teaching everyone! We even met with a less active who's here visiting from Haiti until August 3rd. She still has a strong testimony, not sure what makes her not go to church though.
Jean accepted a baptismal date this week for August 30th. He's excited, especially about having a calling in the church. He loves the idea of being able to help out and serve others.
Saturday we had a breakthrough lesson with Maggie, one of our investigators. She has had a hard time seeing reasons why she should ever need to change churches, but loves to meet with us. We took a member over there, he talked it out with her, and now she understands a lot more. We committed her to legitimately seek for that answer, and taught her how it might come and what she needs to do. She originally wasn't going to come to church, but later texted "I'm actually going to come on Sunday. Is that alright?" Woohoo! She did come and she really enjoyed it.
We also had a birthday party at Barbara's house for her husband, Watson on Saturday night. Haitians never do parties small. I will send some good videos to show you the highlights. Barbara and her whole family came to a baptism in the English ward yesterday. The loved it, they are stoked for August 9th.
Yesterday we tie-dyed shirts at a member's house after we ate dinner with them. They're not done yet, I will send you pics next week.
