Hello all! This week is the transfer week, we got the word last Friday that I will be staying in Brockton for a least another 6 weeks and Elder Hodapp is getting transferred to Boston! So basically, Elder Hodapp is switching spots with Elder Lee, who has been with Elder Ginnett in Boston for the last 3 transfers. Elder Lee served in Brockton for about 9 months already! So he has a ton of experience in this area and he's a way cool guy and great missionary. We're excited. We're also going to be getting English Elders, which means we will take over and go 100% Haitian work! So exciting. This work is nuts!

Yesterday in the group we had about 30 people there, including a member of the Stake Presidency! Our group leader was given his final interview and will be sustained and set apart next Sunday. We're so excited, the group just gets better and better every Sunday. It still has its quirks, but there were some extremely powerful testimonies that the Haitians bore, had many people in tears. The spirit in the group is just incredible. :)
We had some good appointments on Saturday, we have a new investigator named Marc that now wants to be baptized. He's been investigating off and on for a long time, but he just said now everything just clicked. So he's good to go! He just has a couple questions, I couldn't even answer some of them. One of them was "What priesthood did Moses have? The Aaronic or Melchizedek?" and then "When did Jesus himself receive the priesthood?" Good questions. If any of you have a solid answer, let us know!

We also had a breakthrough lesson with a less active lady, we taught her about the blessings of the restoration and she happened to have her non-member sister there and she was able to testify to her sister of the importance of the restoration. Her sister accepted to continue taking the lessons and we'll be back there next week! The less active is also planning on returning to church this upcoming Sunday! :)
So let me tell you about a problem here that we run into a lot. In this area for some reason there are A LOT of Jehovas Witnesses. And I don't have a problem with them at all, but for some reason this week we kept running into them and they all wanted to argue. Let me explain why this is a problem, we don't argue. So therefore, they all think they are "the winners" but really, they don't win anything! They are just out to destroy the faith of others and try to force them to conform their beliefs. Which isn't right. I have met some extremely nice JW people, but on the same scale, some have extremely malicious points of conversation. It's weird.
This week was great, i'm sure the next week or so will be crazy trying to get everyone new moved in and acclimated to the area.
