This week we finally had a full week of proselyting. It was great! No more snow days. None of the snow here has melted at all though, the temperature with the wind chill factor still hasn't gone above 0º. Buuurr.
Everything has been going super well in the digital mission. We're working on adding 22 new companionships in 3 waves this next transfer. So fantastically awesome. Lots and lots of work though!
This week in the digital mission we set 5 new baptismal dates! 2 in Kenya, 1 in Germany, 1 in France and 1 in Mexico! So awesome! The digital mission is going places.
It's been a fantastic week! We got slammed with revelation this week. Our website that everyone uses in the digital mission (dubbed "the portal") had SO many improvements added to it this week, and it is really going to make things easier for extenders.
Sister Caceres in Worcester, who is the only member in her family, asked President Packard for permission to have the Elders teach her family over Skype. President said "well, sure. That's fine - but wouldn't you rather teach them?" So awesome! So there were 4 local missionaries who showed up to her house in Chile, she and her companion Skyped in and she said that her family was so touched by the spirit. All 6 of her family members now would like to take the lessons, and became new investigators. The digital mission really is an amazing thing.
I don't know if anyone saw, but there was a pretty large accident in Haiti this week during their Carnival (a giant celebration that lasts for multiple days that happens every year). A power line fell, and electrocuted some people and caused a stampede and several more were trampled to death. 20 people were lost. Super sad.
Daniel, our now recent convert recently just got 2 (yes two!) callings and the Aaronic Priesthood! He is now the first councilor in the Sunday School presidency and a ward missionary. I think everyone in that ward knows Daniel is destined for greatness. He is such a good guy.
This next week is going to be crazy. Our workload is going to go up like crazy once the sisters go home on Wednesday. We're super sad to see them go. Sister Badham, Sister Layton, and Sister Southworth. Fantastic sisters. They completely changed the culture of the digital mission. Elder Vecchi and I are really sad to see them go.
I think that's about it. We're getting a new apartment this week, so that's exciting!
